Tonight's weather is so beautiful. Such a welcome change from the extreme heat and unbearable humidity we've had of late. The past two nights we have really enjoyed just being outside in our backyard. Eating dinner, swinging from the tree swing, and just lounging. The photos are just some things that really inspire me around the garden.
On the left is a beautifully aged Camp de Fiori planter with a variegated caladium.

That same Australian tree fern in front of my Boston Ivy covered wall, which by the way I am so excited about, my house is now half covered.....I'm going for my house to be 2/3 coverage.
Next year we will be there.
The massive Thailand Giant Colocasia....one leaf is roughly 5' across.

The other morning I saw this cute guy munching on some dill in our garden. To most this little bugger is a garden pest who eats holes in the plants we love in the garden......but this guy is actually the larvae of a swallowtail butterfly. So if you run across this garden beauty during your duties let him be please.
